oA(of Alternative) is an art collective compromised of five young outsiders of London. They try to find alternative answers for 'What is truth?' by questioning the notion of truth itself. After their first successful festival «To Be Honest.LONDON» in March 2017, they are now exploring how a story can be told from different angles in the upcoming event «To Be Honest.SPAIN» in Girona, Spain.
Jeehyeon Rosa Wang
Having a background in Industrial Design(BFA)and Philosophy of Aesthetics(BA) from Seoul National University in South Korea, Jeehyeon Wang seeks to analyze human experiences and create new interventions through spatial experimentation and philosophical investigation. As an exhibit administration staff member at the MMCA(National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Arts, Seoul) and Baek hae young gallery in Korea, Jeehyeon has been developing skills such as; exhibit management, public relations and administration activities. Jeehyeon focus on reconstructing and deforming the existing perception of surrounding environment and reshape it under challengeable spatial experiment.
Miranda Orozco-Jimenez
Miranda is an Interior Architect from Mexico who is interested on observing the world into a deeper level through the learning of new and different perspectives. Convinced that fictional scenarios driven by imagination of the human mind might change reality standards and life, as we know it. Her main interest remains towards the finding of new ways of reciprocal communication with our context as human beings within spatial investigation linked to sensorial interaction
Souraya Kreidieh
Souraya Kreidieh graduated from the American University of Beirut (AUB) with a Bachelor of Architecture in 2012. After her graduation she worked as an Architect at Dar AL Handasah Shair and Partners, an international consultant design firm in Beirut. During her undergraduate studies, she developed an interest in multiple interdisciplinary design. She was also involved in the production of several public art and theatre installations.
Tuo Lin
Tuo Lin graduated from Zhejiang University with a Bachelor of Architecture degree and has studied in the Technical University of Madrid for half a year. He won the first award in National Olympiad in Informatics in 2009 and the second award in the National High School Mathematics Joint Competition in 2010. He worked at Yung Ho Chang’s Atelier FCJZ whose outputs range from community to jewelry. Tuo has practiced in projects from courtyard reconstruction to re-planning of attractions and has participated in the 2015 Hangzhou International Design Week. His design attempt to express human emotions even among this rapidly developing society.
Xiuxiu Chen Originating from HangZhou, China. Xiuxiu spent four years studying Art Design (Environmental Art) at the China Academy of Art. After graduating with a bachelor’s degree, she then went on to work for three years at an Architecture and Spacial design company, specializing in Interior design. From this she gained a vast amount of experience within the industry, as well as a great insight into how to apply her skills outside of an academic environment
